The value of "every farewell matters" is extremely important to everyone at Roseberry Funeral Service. We originally launched in Redcar in December 2014. This quickly led to the creation of a second location at Marske in 2015, and we have been expanding ever since.

We opened our third location in Guisborough in 2022 and we have grown over the years to include a fleet of limousines and hearse in addition to two dedicated private ambulances. We are always considering ways to enhance the services we provide and to guarantee that each funeral is distinctive, personal and fairly priced.​
In recent years, particularly since the Covid pandemic, there has been a significant rise in the number of families choosing direct cremations, which now account for around 25% of all funerals. While many people turn to large national companies they have seen advertised on television, this can often mean their loved one is moved far from home. At Roseberry Funeral Service, we are specialists in both traditional funerals and direct cremations, ensuring your loved one remains local and is cared for by our highly trained team from start to finish. We are proud to offer the same high standards of dignity, compassion, and personal attention for direct cremations as we do for any other farewell — because every farewell matters.

Roseberry Funeral Services Ltd of Redcar are very proud members of a funeral trade association known as SAIF. This stands for the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors. This means that we have been inspected and approved on our standards, processes and premises.

Since concerns were raised in Hull about a funeral directors level of care, every funeral director in the country is to be inspected by their Environmental Health department of the local council. We are very pleased to say that all our offices have been inspected by Environmental Health with no concerns raised. We are very proud to offer an "open door" approach and would welcome anyone who wishes to see all areas of our offices.
